as i said, if they can manage to do that, i am gonna be absolutely delighted.
I am voting for this so i can actually focus on being a healer and not have to worry about doing damage and letting everyone die just to get a drop or even contribution on Corruption breeches.

If itās an Open World boss ⦠i.e. public ⦠everyone who gets a hit in or heals someone who got a hit in should have a chance to get loot. Then the chance-for-drop value can be calibrated to do whatever wealth limiting is intended, if any.
A hard limit of 5 items creates a contentious environment, whereas knowing you have a 0.13% chance of a drop ⦠just like everyone else ⦠does not.
I am not sure what all your guys progress is so i dont want to offend anyone and just explain boss loot in general for everyone.
Boss loot is u get 1 Potion (can be heal or mana) and then u have a chance to drop some crafting component plus 1-2 Gear Items.
The āGearā Items arent always Epic or Legendary to get a legendary loot you have to max out your watermark to 591 gearscore to be able to loot a legendary version with like 1% or less dropchance to be a legendary most of the time you just get 1 green item maybe 1 green + 1 blue item and sometimes u get 1 epic if you are hella lucky u may even get 2 epic items.
So starting with āimagine its an elephant being killed by 10 hunters but only 2 tusksā thats totally wrong cause u dont get garuanteed epic or legendary loot.
So if there is 15 or even 20 ppl killing the boss and only 5 of them getting loot and this 5 loots are maybe 1-2 epic items 1 blue and 2 green items split on 20 ppl isnt a good loot system at all.
The reason why i started this and ask for a change isnt cause im selfish or cause i want some juicy epic/legendary item on every single kill its cause from my own multiplayer experience i can 100% tell you over the time ppl will get angry and start to be toxic insulting each other maybe even quit the game (yes not everyone but there will be enough ppl getting mad about it) so it would be more than fair for everyone getting a lootbag even if its just healing potion or a green item just make it fair and not have 5 lootbags being the maximum obtainable loot for X amount of players. That hunter story is totally irrilevant here cause every elephant kill would grant you 2 legendary tusks which bosses arentā¦

The drop system is very good in this way at the moment.
What about the solo players who enjoy soloing? And want to Kill World bosses and Help with Dps/ heals? You shouldnāt just ASSUME solo players are leechesā¦BUT rather just trying to help along.
Potentially make Loot based off their DMG / Healing?
If i hit the boss say for 1kā¦My ā%ā Of getting Loot A B C should be say 0.1%?
But the more DMG i do or the more Debuffs i put up and or healing. I should still have a % at whatever that Mobs loot table can drop.
A lot of solo players enjoy the Solo adventuresā¦but we also like loot as well.
I fully agree with you there @CrowGin75 , I have seen more group people being leechers than solo players NOT adding dps to a boss fight after 1 hit.
@CrowGin75 No one has assumed that all Solo players are leeches, we are referring to those that are not active in the battle/ do the bare minimum, but just go there to retrieve most/all of the loot. I have seen this happen with my own eyes on countless occasions and it can be a very frustrating experience for all community members and this is what we want to improve on.
I have informed the team of trying to take a closer look at loot drops and figure out a way it can be amended so not all the quality loot is taken by the players doing hardly any damage/healing as that is unfair to those who are doing most of the work.
This still allows there to be participation from all parties but then each play will be accredited correctly.

Seriously the loot rewards are very lame. Itās like can we get a drop that really will be useful to our class? It seems all the loot drops are fxxking random and it pisses me off.

good feed back. But what about the Damage a player does to a boss? If im solo and i jump in to help a group of 10 or more. Shouldnāt my damage be considered for drops as well? Each player has their own loot table due to the amount of Effort they put in?
I do 27% of Damage so i should get a ā%ā chance at a drop. Regardless of TIER of the items or Quality?
Sure you might get those " NON active participants" They run up hit the Mob once! And get some T5 Legendary item. Sure i can see this being a HUGE issue. But once again. A lot of solo players should have a fair chance at loot for their āParticipationā

@CrowGin75 I completely agree, if a solo player is doing their part and actively participating and dealing damage, then they should get a dedicated piece of the loot. There is no confusion there, what we want to do is ensure that those who are not doing anything, do not have an opportunity to just run up and steal the hard-earned loot of other players who were doing all the work.

Try once a week for FFXIā¦Or Triggers that had random spawn timers between 18-24 hrs. You miss a window you donāt do Sky end game contentā¦That shit was hard coreā¦BDO was never about camping Bosses it was about grinding levels and pvpā¦that was their content.
And btw NO one is whining. people are trying to get a fair and just system. And weed out the random players coming up and griefing loot.

Well. I do think the current system is fair and weāll implemented. ⦠I mean it could be more difficult to get a good gear but it is what it is.
