I’d like to get the bots back. At least they move around collecting. If you get to a node/rss before they do, you get the ore/rss, etc. “Players” (term used very loosely), on the other hand, sit on a node/rss and wait for it to spawn… collect… and repeat. There is no way to work around them. On Orun, for example, there are at least 3 “players” who sit on ori nodes. Mikaros (lvl 60) sits on a ori node in WindsWard (far west between 2 large trees by a wagon). Nelkasy (lvl 60) sits on 2 ori nodes in Reekwater (south of Echoing Roar), and McRilla (lvl 60 sits on 2 ori nodes at the base of the North Palace Shrine (southern end) of Ebonscale. I know there are more but these are the ones I visit multiple times daily.
I have decided that if nothing is done about this node sitting on the Orun server that this particular character will no longer be played. It wastes my time to constantly search nodes only to find “players” sitting on them 24/7.
We need items to be collectable by each player based on a timer, much as any chest. There are more chests than resource nodes available (except for green/aged wood).
Bots and sitters are a result of, the first, bad control and a poorly coded protocol, and the later, as a direct result of the scarcity and prolific existence of said bots.
My thought is this… let them sit and collect up to 3 times… then they are banned from that node(s) for 4 hours. If they move to another, the procedure start again… 3 times, 4 hours.
When our realm was full, i was on a spot with 3 ori and water directly on it. So i simply was fishing and looting, when they spawned. I dont see, why that would be a problem? When players farm, let them do. Bots on the other hand… well
please ban these guys AGS!!! They are sitting at nodes cause they selling the money they make from the game IRL. Here’s a screenshot of this guy i’ve killed at scorched mines over 50x, wtih his friend Clariisa in Pluto! for over a month i can’t mine ori cause these guys are here 24/7, literally. Read my reddit post about it as well. @Luxendra please do something about this!! legit players cant even farm cause you have gold farming bots/humans ruining the game for people!!!
It’s the first node of 2 ori spots under the temple, you just have to run east, cross the waterfall. No i don’t stay there all day long, i have responsibilities and also need some sleep. I also love to farm on beautiful places, stuff to sell, iron, the elemental nodes, and leather T1 or t2. PVP dungeons etc. But here and there i stay and do fishing and hitting these two for 1- 3 h
