So ive been thinking about using a bow as second weapon for tanking. Not trying to meta or something at all but just for the fun of it. Would you say its doable (not optimal) with a bow with carnelian and using primary poison bomb/shot or what ever its called as a “pulling” option. Would the poison tick benefit from the carnelian and also if both weapons have carnelian would the 100% extra threat benefit the poison dmg even if swapping weapons.
Just trying to find a fun playstyle here, not trying to invent the wheel.
I switch from hatchet, lifestaff and ice gauntlet as a secondary, they all have their perks and drawbacks so I don’t think bow would be any different, if it’s fun and works for you then I’d say do it. being able to grab aggro right outa the gate is always a good time, DPS in every MMO don’t understand that the tank needs to get threat before they nuke, so setting up a small nuke and then tossing in threat is a good idea in my opinion.
