Hello amazon team i am not sure if you guys ever checked a bow gameplay or the actual perks so the most used ability’s in bow are evade shot , rain of arrow, penetration shot , poison shot.
So lets start with Rain of Arrows
The perk gives me fortify for 6 seconds when i hit someone with rain of arrow to hit someone i will need some distance so the time he gets to me the fortify is not on anymore. And why would i need fortify when i am 20m away from the enemy.
The second perk is Enfeebling Poison Shot
So this is the biggest cooldown on bow and is an ability that is not good and the perk is fully useless the perk is Enfeebling Poison Shot and and it applies weaken to a person that i hit with an arrow for 4 seconds if u guys ever checked people prefer to shoot to the floor to get an 100% sure debuff to the opponent. So the perk is fully useless when the chance of actually hitting it its like 10% damage and it only applies to 1 opponent for 4 seconds so it makes fully waste of time to use it or even wasting my largest cooldown and risking the chance of missing when i can shoot directly to the floor and applying the poison.
Next one is Evade Shot
The perk name is Energizing Evade Shot , the perk gives u a ridiculous amount of stamina 18 of stamina when i hit it its worth it to have the perk i cannot complain to much about it but compared to other weapon abilities this one is completely bad in terms of being useful.
And the last one is Penetrating Shot
So this is one of the most used abilities in bow the the perk cannot even be considered a perk, so the perk is refreshing penetrating shot and it reduces the cooldown by 14 % that is really low when u kill someone with it . So lets put this in a real situation if a player is fighting vs 2 or 3 guys in an entire fight he doesn’t use the perk because it only works when he kills someone and the cooldown redaction for a kill is actually low 14 % is like what 2 , 3 seconds .
All i want is this perks to be reworked . Bow is being affected since the start of the game while other are getting buffed while they have the best perks , so pls have a check in my post and rethink of a bow perk rework since we have the worst perks compared to the other weapons.
So you have to make a choice…so what? I do think that it should apply to the cloud though.
I also think that the cloud either needs to be bigger so that the visual actually matches the hit box, or the hitbox needs to be small to match the visual of the cloud. Being poisoned when standing 2m away from the cloud is annoying lol
Yea just compare Void gauntlet or new BB abilities perks . This shit is insane how much debuff / rend / healing debuff you get with Thoses when basically 100% of bow perks are literally for meme. Example : scream disease is 10 sec debuff ? Why is it more than crit plagues ?
Bow does too much damage from a safe distance, that should be nerfed. I don’t know why cry about the perks of the most OP weapon in the game, the perks might be situational, but the weapon is in an overpowered state.
Huge bump. Trash perks are one of the reasons why Bow is so bad now (on top of others). When you compare it with melee and mage perks things are so unbalanced that is ridiculous.
A great fix for those perks would be:
1- refreshing penetrating shot - decrease the skill CD by 20% when HIT someone
2- enfeebling poison shot: reduces the target defense by 10% for 6s
3- rain of arrows: increase fortify to 8s (on top of this, they need to increasing the skill speed just like they did with the Pillar of Fire)
4- Evade shot: gains 30 Vigor and makes the animation into iFrames
Yea I like refreshing evasion but I got a totally different build than you I play high med 50/250/5/5/200. Pretty fun but it’s clearly not the best for dmg, I usually main spear and my bow secondary with all AOE to support doamage ( I got plague crit on my bow so I hope for crit on RoA or pen) . I’m glad to see differents build from bow / spear , this is what is nice about Mmo, we got same weapons but different build / skill . Enjoys your bow my fellow bowman’s
