Bow broken or bugged?

Hey guys, lately me and my company getting really curios about the bow damage. Sometimes ppl hitting us with 5-9k with one shot or like explosive arrow. How is this possible. I saw some light assasin or bruisers get oneshotted. Maybe someone can explain what’s going on. I can only see the that’s from ppl in my company and no run run under 12% thrust protection some healers have 20% and still get down in seconds from the bows. Would be nice to get an explanation how is this possible .
And for the Bow fan boys I know the GS is busted too and do the same damage numbers but we all know they gonna nerf it soon.

Bow damage passives are op + light armor has little defense. The diff between 12% thrust protect and 35% thrust protect in light armor is one more bow heavy to kill you.

I’ve heard some people say that emeralds are just not working right, but idrk.

But even me in medium with 12% thrust protection get so much damage . Ngl 6k damage from one bow shot sound kinda to much . I agree that they should do a lot damage but tbh not like that

Easy. Bow has great dmg and option to shot 2 arrows almost in same time. Example would be heavy attack into penshot - they will land almost same time on target and if both crit they can 1 shot 100con light armor if low trust protection. There is also animation cancel that allows to the same 2in1 shot.

In fact FS can do the same: heavy into fireball. But its not same lvl of dmg and you see fireball comming (very slow projectile) vs penshot (very fast projectile). So on Fs mechanic is not a problem on bow wasnt untill they added to much dmg to it.

the use bug of the passive of the hatchet of 50% applied on the bow ?

I tought they patched something like this but it can be also still a thing that it s still working

lol they are working. Problem is 50% fortify against a weapon that can heavy attack for unmitigated 8k is still 2.7-3.5k damage. The only thing that really makes a difference is the protection necklaces as that 10% doesnt apply to fortify cap for some reason.

Go run 0 thrust and have a bow roll and heavy shot head shot you. In light armor they will hit you for like 6k. Only option right now is 30%+ thrust resistance, since ranged weapons fall into the “unavoidable” damage category due to you usually not seeing them/fighting someone else when they shoot you.

their vitality damage was reduced by 75%, a simple shield and they do nothing more.

they break a round shield in 3 shots. There is usually multiple bows all shooting with high fire rate. Using a shield to block any ranged that isn’t firestaff (which its honestly too effective vs fire staff, its magic it should go through shield wtf lol…) is not viable.

as there are usually several axes or several other weapons, in short, it proves that they do the same thing as other weapons, right?

ok its confirmed that the Bow has 2 diffrent type of buggs for insane burst damage. so maybe @Luxendra you can give the devs a hit that they disable it or take a closer look on it

I already mark her. I see a few companies abusing it and playing like 10 or more bows in war staying splitted and just spam the explosion arrow abuse and loaded shot abuse to hit like a rapid cannon with the double of the damage
