I think it needs a buff, but the buff on PTR is overdone. They need to tone down hit box sizes, and also remove the instant skill cast after a light attack.

Damage mitigation itâs way harder than damage increase. full resil + 200CON means you wonât ever be hit by crit shots on bow. If the bow has vicious than the crit is +6% from an auto attack

No other ranged weapon in the game has 2 instant cast ability cancels that also have near instantaneous travel speed. You canât react to these abilities on PTR.
If a mage is going to light attack you then fireball you, you can dodge the fireball. Itâs a slow moving projectile. The projectile speed buffs they did on PTR made bow abilities travel at bullet speed.
Didnât they reduce this on PTR? Also, because youâre farther away.
Matter of fact, canceling auto attack chains with dodges is going to be more hurtful than helpful pretty soon. With the stamina stuff.

Also there wasnât any projectile speed buff, only hitbox increase and fire rate increase.

Regardless, bow projectiles (especially pen shot) travel much faster than any other abilities other ranged can throw out after a light/heavy. The point stands, you canât compare them.
Bow players were strong until they nerfed the jump-auto-reset. This patch they increase the attack rate and the damage per shot. I could care less if bow players âget to play the gameâ if theyâre going to be capable of stopping everyone else from playing.
Counterplay is good. You cant block ranged attacks therefore there is 0 counterplay to a good bow user. Better burn all your rolls getting in range so they can pop you with an auto+evade lmao
