so what do u guys want, easy insane dmg for noobs and pro`s will shred everybody? 
For starters they can remove the root and make it feel less clunky. You showing good damage in perfect situations that rarely happen is not indicative to how the weapon actually plays. Pros should shred everyone. Thats why they are pros.
Im no pro but I am very good. Im not shredding anyone with bow unless the situation is perfect. its kind of like getting that perfect craft or getting that precision armoring tools out of a chest. It just doesn’t happen that often.
Against heavy armor I am firing toothpicks out there. A toothpick that can literally miss through an armpit or hell go right through a head or chest and not register at all. On top of that it cost me a buck fifty for that shot.

Probably armor is too strong yes. Especially with the damage they can put out wearing the armor.
My main issues is the clunkiness of bow and the root. Although as a whole I think it needs somewhat of a damage buff too.
Facing a great player it doesn’t matter what weapon they have. This is not limited to bow. I don’t think weapons should be balanced around the 5% of the playerbase. Bow is the toughest weapon to be good at IMO. It should be rewarding to use. It currently is not.

Bro… “pro” bow players dont exist anymore. They all left after the nerfs. Even the good bowmen are still trash. Its not their fault, bow is not even remotely a threat.
How many bows are in OPR? When was the last time a bow killed you? Its been months for me.
Rapier has awful cooldowns now that severely hurt its offense. Bow spear is even worse they have no ability to escape in the heaviest cc/aoe/root spam meta yet.
Maybe you can find someone good to 1v1 you at WW, but once that pro steps into OPR/war which allows potions, healers, and is filled with tanky builds/ root cheesers that bow player instantly becomes F tier.
Bow is unplayable.
Even when bow was OP it was only a handful of people truly popping off because its a difficult weapon. Unlike the 80% of people using 2 button GA and IG nowadays.

I met one today. Really really good player. But he had to kill me with the spear mostly

Zero f---- given. Most bow players decided to exploit it to the max and wanted to call them selves good players. It is a sad consequence of bad behavior. I played the bow as designed and was nerfed to the ground but if people want to exploit and cheat with it then I am 100% fine with it in its current state.
Lol, pro? Imagine getting exploits fixed and all of a sudden pros are not pros anymore.

When I hit a Heavy armored WH/GA that had 15K+ HP with Penetrating shot for 1000dmg using a 625 Laz Bow… I knew Bow was officially garbage.

The bow was mainly balanced around its exploits, other than the bunny hop. Its current status really isn’t acceptable. All of the bow players I used to watch and look up to quit youtube/New World and went on to other games. And yes, they had a lot of skill.

you cant say bow and fs are the same when fs has 10x an easier time hitting stuff, more mobility and half the cd.
a weapon with 1 physical dmg skill, with 18s, 25, 30s, tell me why it should do no damage to anything higher than light. you cant even refresh cds with every attack like fs, only against 50% with a lower fire rate and a harder projectile. It sucks

exactly, bow spear are not even ranged, they are light spear with a ranged weapon as finisher

Not every weapon should be supposed to do the same.

im talking about 2 weapons in the same exact category: medium range.
you definitely can, with every dps weapon, especially if you’re in light and ranged against a melee, you can just kite endlessly. In group fights it all depends on your teammates cant complain there as fs, your job is the damage, your vg guy has to put oblivion and melees the grav, otherwise nothing dies. Can bow do the same? Yea but not like fs: it’s harder cause smaller projectile hitbox and longer cds, and less frequently always cause less cds and cd reduction. Fs is just superior

Dealing 1k heavy crits and 1.6 - 2.5k fireball crits in a crowd, 2.5k on crap gear probably
But if i find time on the weekend i make a full test with a max geared bis company friend
You can achieve those dmg with no buff on LMB on a GA
