I don’t have BiS bow or even close and I’m hitting pretty dang hard in PVP with my bow. I think w/ food I’m sitting at 432~ Dex. Oh and my bow isn’t lvl 20 yet.

If you are taking advantage of non-intended mechanics, how is that not an exploit? That’s the exact definition of exploit lol
I agree that it shouldn’t be bannable, though.
Because it is a mechanic… I suppose it’s a matter of perspective which is why I framed it as my opinion. I would consider for instance the ability to break through a wall of a fort or shake your window to avoid damage… exploits. Using the games combat mechanics to their maximum potential I don’t consider exploiting.
Essentially because you can jump after an attack(I don’t know if this can be done on other weapons) that probably is intended for various reasons. Using it continuously probably wasn’t, but actually it doesn’t reduce the time between one shot and the next. I’ve tested it… It does allow you to move out of the animation faster though allowing you to remain more mobile.
Ultimately though it doesn’t matter why I don’t consider it an exploit. I have already expressed I don’t think it should be in the game. If that is a sentiment you disagree with I’d be happy to discuss it. I got the impression you did agree though…

I cant even cath up to a light bow user with a ga unless I play a certain build and even than they can kite the shit out of me without any problem … Bow arnt weak… they have the most mouvement speed with the haste … + 90% of them play with rapier wich move out of grav well with Evade and Fleche … so litterally impossible to catch …

iam top 5 dps on war. Most wars the dmg numbers are me being on 1,1mil meanwhile mage is 1,5-1,6mil but i cant take someone serious that is bad at 1v1
if you are top 5 with your super bad bow than why are you complaining about the bow beeing bad in wars. Grow up get some brain and then come in again, or reopen your damn 5 iq post and talk about 1 vs 1 and not about wars.
becaus after u used rain and pene poisen u are legit left click and have 0 impact ??!?!?! do u have a brain and understand that the cool down u have is not fair to the dmg u deal? doing 3k 2k and 4k to light with pene and arrow is not fair for having 18 and 23 or what ever rain has on cd
first of all i have tons of cooldown reduction on my gear but yes i agree the cooldowns are overtuned. Mostly what i do is i use my aoe abilities with my bow shoot some single target ones if i see some squishy guys and if not i take my spear and go wild around the point. When my cooldwons are back i use them and repeat. But yeah if you use ONLY your bow the weapon is dog

bow user since release, can confirm bow is incredibly overpowered. I personally dont think theyve nerfed it enough, at the start i was getting 65-70 kills always first place in OPR now after nerfs im only getting 45-50 kills still first in OPR though so it probably could use more nerfs. unless im a god idk
