Closer, bad part was wrong both times though. Come to think of it, even an average melee or mage is better than dex, since they, you know, actually get slotted for wars. OPR heros are a dime a dozen.

Every weapon hits hard when you dump all your points into 1 attribute. Bows do it because they’re at range. It’s also why it’s considered a DPS class. Dump all your points into STR and swing an axe around. You’ll find it does high numbers really fast in close quarters. Even a BB can kill most bows in 1-2 shots because of a bow’s lack of CON.

“easiest” rofl. most bows miss 90% of their shots. only the ones who’ve stuck with it since launch are deadly. it’s literally the hardest weapon to land a hit. fs and musket are 100x easier.

Dont nerf weapons, nerfs the LoS.
Opr is broken not the weapons used in it.
The game mode has the caused so many “nerf this weapon” posts and needs to be fixed asap.
Im sure pot usage has gone up dramatically too since bow meta and its costing me so much.

I didn’t read 134 pages of comments, ranged weapons don’t need nerfs, they are intended to function like they are supposed to.
Look at the real world, there is a reason why every nation uses guns instead of spears. It is easier to kill someone with a gun from a distance than a spear at melee.

Because they are a brainlet and don’t understand the basic concepts of logic and rational thinking. These are the low hanging fruit players New World caters to. Anyway bow nerfs incoming anyways so this is a moot point now.
If you want to play anything other than healer or melee bruiser and be viable for PvP. I guess New World is not the game for you. Take measures to have fun playing your playstyle of choice.
Some people need a buff, but as it’s seems not possible at the moment they ask to nerf others.
And stop mix things together, bow is fine now, opr aren’t.

I don’t agree, i love to kill archers and musketeers, people just need to learn how to counter them.
Of course some players are really good and still kill me but that’s part of the game

Bow is definitely out of whack. The problem is weapons like bow/musket, that if you are very skilled (or use an aimbot), suddenly the weapon is outrageously overpowered, while for the normal player it might even be underpowered.
People aren’t aimbotting, but good to know where you stand lul
