I hardly die from a bow. When I do I’m getting beamed by multiple users/players when I’m caught in the open. Seems fair enough.

Do not take this game serious, those changes the devs doing are irracional, you can’t do anything with it.
I will give you one example. Just one of many, scoreboard at OPR is bugged since a while but instead of fixing something what annoys many active players they putted the effort of a group of artists, graphic designer and programist, kinda big amount of theirs workers to bring us an instruments which will gives a fun just for few % of players? Like really? That was the most important now for the game? If i wanted play on instrument i could play the Guitar game or whatever its called. Those “tasty” little things are cool, but for game which is completed, not this one, not now…
I am out, really gonna play that game just like a casual, from time to time.
Yea they also stated that we should be awarded kills on a poison / bleed doT kill , still bugged. I have plenty of Thoses kills and it never count towards my kills ( I hear the ding from my poison / bleed tick )

Better question is why do we draw conclusions on limited datasets (both pro and con do this)
I’m for x because based on my own personal experience it seemed y. I fight vigorously for my opinion because it must be right!
facts , this nerfs we can clearly see the devs don’t really play their game. People justify themselves saying bow opr but people are just using a lot cause the weapon is fun to play and its decent. But its not overpowered since the team with more bows always lose and every competitive company only uses a max of 2 bows per war so the weapon is clearly fine. But no this devs decided to remove stuff that was since September like the stagger and instead they give us an ability called explosive arrow with an horrible animation and fully bugged with a radius of 1m. But ye after the patch will be mage opr.
