Bow vs Musket vs BlunderBuss

I hope I’m not being boring. But as this new meta has made me very sad, I decided to make my first post

I took as an example 3 super competitive full triple perk players being the archer with 300 dex 215 cons, the Musket 265 dex 150 int and 100 cons and a BlunderBuss 250 force 165 int 100 cons.

Basic Hit

Arc: 3.5k ( No Reload )
musket: 3.2k reload
Blunderbuss 2.6k reload

Best Damage Skills

Bow Penetration Shot: 6.5k — 18sec CD
Musket Burn: 8.2k (all burns) — 15sec
BlunderBuss Sharpnel shot: 4.2k ---- 14sec

Move Speed

Bow = Best Move Speed In the Game + Evade Shot + 150 dex (Dodge’s Less Stamina)

Musket = 10% Move Speed + 150 dex (Dodge’s Less Stamina)

BlunderBuss = No move speed, only on reload.

Effective Range

Bow: Any distance up to 110 meters
Musket: Any distance up to 110 meters
Blunderbuss: Any distance up to 8 meters

weapons combination

Bow: Spear/Rapier
Musket: Rapier
Blunderbuss: None match very well because they lack dexterity and don’t give the possibility of escape.

I could make several other comparisons, which would still be unfair with the Blunderbuss so the question I ask is, why let these weapons with such high range be the strongest? please let’s make our game cool, soft buff on hammer and blunderbuss and smart nerf the bow and musket, my outpost looks like fireworks lol.

You should redo the math with the bow with the same constitution as the other builds.

The BB can still do an +8k damage combo to light armor, and that’s with all emeralds.

I think a lot of people just do 400 intel/100 con and pair the Bb with the ice gauntlet.

we dont needs talk about bb anymore brother, if u still talk about it. I know there will be some crier will continue to cry about bb
I think bb is fine now so don’t put it on the scale, I just don’t want to ags just because the criers ruined it again

Ill just not get too far into this but.
Nevertheless facts are facts. Fact is count on your fingers how many muskets and bows you see in a war / OPR and 3v3.
Now see how many BBs you see in those PvP modes.
Considering your calculations should mean that All PvP modes are dominated by Bow and Muskets the reality seems to be a bit different.
The issue is not the damage only its the utility which kind of made a big curve around your calculations.
Put a netshot into a Ice Storm and light armor users wont move a m with their rolls with how light armor works. Which leads to a very easy to land heavy ice attack as the target barely moves.
Its not purely BB. Its the combination of BB with IG which makes it not healthy.

umm you mention evade shot but not netshot for the bb? one of the strongest abilities in the game rn for defensive AND offensive playstyle

Blunderbuss ist still one of the strongest weapons in terms of killpotential. Just try to play wh/bb, ga/bb or spear/bb and you will be oneshotting ppl left and right. And the fact, that ig/bb is stil THE strongest on-point weapon combos says it all

Currently with nerfed rooting no one will take the blunderbuss combo this way, I don’t consider myself a good player and just roll and you break the combo, there’s no secret. Now the Musket and the bow are inevitable

On my server there are almost no BB and IG users, 90% of the players who use IG have Fire Staff and Void.

Cant really say ofc for all servers as all do their own thing.
But the most competitive games if you watch twitch wherever people stream the meta is BB IG as it provides damage buff through IG, you can go heavy and still close to oneshot light armor people. And if you ever get low you just pop entomb and all is good.

I mean I already coped with how bow got a bit overtuned and hits like a truck so i made a medium armor musket build against that. But whoever says musket is the most broken weapon I invite those people to play it in arena and attack wars against non bots who got actual groups hunting you down.

the Blunderbuss is a terrible weapon, with no mobility at all, minimal range, and compared to both the bow and the musket it has awful damage, I tried it for a few days, and went right back on the bow.
