So you’re implying Greataxe kept them in check population wise? Or that great axes will defect to other weapons?
Did you have that same energy when lifestaffs got nerfed 3 patches in a row and FS/IG for nerfed?

Sure, but you’re handicapping your output for most content playing sword atm. It’s not needed for most content and provides very little support for teams in pvp.
in opr i provide stuns slows and defense for my team holding points as well as protection for healers and dps targeted by bows and muskets

I’m happy you’re playing your style and digging it. It isn’t viable atm competitively for pvp for more than 1-2 for OPR or for wars. It’s hard to get into a war roster as a sword user.
i don’t do wars so i don’t know, all i’m saying is if bows and muskets ever became THE meta it would be the easiest meta to shut down on objective based gameplay

You realise if you’re legit dying to a “Brain dead left-click spam” you’re absolute garbo at the game right? So when im being shot down from a rock in narnia by 3 musket boys “brain dead left click spamming” with hit scan, thats okay is it?
Btw bro, reality check, this games skill ceiling is extremely low, using cc’s (pressing a few buttons) and left clicking pretty much wraps up the majority of NW combat.

So you’re saying you’ve adapted and over come axes? Then why exactly does it need a nerf.
What, mage builds have few tools vs Melee, have you played the void gauntlet?
i put my shield up and just be near them allowing for the musket not to get a hit and if they do hit my healer they hit for 30% less damage with defensive formation on. muskets and bow do nothing for winning opr as objective based game require force on point to hold.
Do they? What if no one wants to play a human meat shield as a playstyle? With no capability of hunting down range players? Then what?
Every class left click spams…why do so many of you all act like ranged/mage classes don’t left click just as much?
Hell even healers have parts of their kits baked into their left click with cleanse and healing as their projectile passes through teammates.
Everyone is a clicker in this game. Melee just does it in your face.

Well by that logic, cause great axe gets nerfed im sure you’ll be okay with Musket/Bow and VG getting the nerf hammer too, nice to see we’re somewhat on the same page.
What you all cryers don’t get is that great axe and hammer as a composition is much needed in ALL forms of content on this game. When it gets nerfed and nobody uses it, good luck fighting off invasions and dungeons with your bows and muskets.
What do you want? A shooter spam fest in wars where everyone is measuring how big their dick is from range. Oh i crit him for 8k… and nobody is playing the objective.
One thing i can pass along from battlefield… PTFO = play the fucking objective!

I don’t really care about the nerfs as i switch between axe/hammer and rapier for various content, but this will lead to nothing good in the end.
All this for a bunch of crybabies in light armour. It’s sad really.

Depends what you define as win really. I’ll just adapt what I play, shift to the next meta and still “win”, don’t worry.
Exactly, the biproduct of this will be in a few weeks all melee start crying that they can’t reach rangers and the nerfs for them will come. You can’t expect to do 3/4 of my HP before I get close and not die in 3 hits, get over it.
Not sure how you came up with that conclusion I never said because IG/FS/LS got nerfed so should GA.
I’m asking was that same energy present when GA/WH users begged for nerfs on those weapons?
