Is here to bring “programmatic content” - advertising in terms of mobile game microtransactions?
The only real thing she said was shes going to give us more fishing?
Is this where you introduce another video with a new PvP CM Lead whose going to actually listen to the PvP side of the game? Or is this another save face for PvE players, I’m confused.
This gave me less hope in the game than I already had.
IF you want to save your PvP game (game design revolves around PvP conflict for territory control which is the largest part of this game) Please… please listen.

I dont think you have to have previous experience with a product to be able to interact with the community. It will help, and it sounds like she will be gaining that experience, trial by fire for sure.
If companies looked for the “perfect” candidate for every job, someone that fits some hyper idealized vision of what experience is needed to fill a job, then nobody would ever get hired.
She has, according to the video you clearly didn’t pay attention to, a longstanding MMO background (while new to NW), games that span multiple platforms, and experience as an e-sports tournament administration in addition to some background in mobile gaming.
Also, in case you missed, she’s a CM and not a Dev or Dev Lead or Producer - so she’s not going to give anyone anything (like ‘more fishing’) because she doesn’t make content decisions. By the way, the person commenting on fishing was Lux, not Fenne, and did so because she loves fishing.
She very specifically focused on communications around events, not creating them. I quote: “We want you guys to know that there are going to be events and to learn when to expect them.” That’s communications and helping to make communicating with us more effective. This was an FiA about improving communications, not design or the direction the Dev team is making.

You know what LinkedIN is? (Yeah longstanding history in working for companies after they’re no longer trading) xD So they made a video for someone whose going to post tweets and still neglect any form of communication around PvP in the game?
I mean atleast you guys can fish when the population is 300 on every server.
PvP in this game has been dying a slow death and is in its final stages. Seriously just move on. As fun as this game is sometimes, you’ll just get more frustrated with every patch.
