Anyone got this recently from Dynasty? I run alot of Dynasty… ALOT. I havent seen it in forever. NWDB says still drops there, just curious.

It drops, just not often. You have better luck just farming armoring expertise.

Arcana is arguably both easier and more rewarding, in my opinion, to get Brilliant Animus.
ehhh I mean if you have the money most definitely but the azoth water is a pain. If you don’t have alot of money armoring is definitely the play. If you’re not dealing with alot of contest you can farm about 3 full circles of armoring in about 6 hours. (you have to buy the tannin)

That is true, the azoth water is the most painful part of the process. I just do buy orders and pump it that way.

Anyone noticing a particular area is higher in drop chance than another during Dystany runs? Also full luck or no luck?
I would suggest running regular Dynasty expedition with full luck gear and seeing if you get good drops of Animus, ensuring you open all chests etc. If you record your results in a spreadsheet, you can than compare the runs you do without luck to get an idea of how luck affects your runs.
Luck SHOULD increase the number of Brilliant Animus you get, but hard to tell without testing.
I am going to do this with dual luck weapons, 2.9% luck armor with pristine’s and luck bags.
My worry is that due to them benign a “green” drop, the luck may work counterintuitive to desired outcome. However only one way to tell.
I find in my chest runs that I get WAY more weapon mods etc., when doing full Luck setup, versus without it, from the reagent chests. Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal though, so I look forward to your results!
i run 5-20 dynasty runs every day. i havent seen a brillain animus in the past 2 weeks at least. I cant speak prior to that becasue i was usually too lazy to pick up the bags.
luck gear, trophies, bags. sometimes weapons.
i farmed 5k dynasty materia recently for the craftable life staff - saw 0 brilliant animus along the way
But i did get an aptitude crate from arcana a couple days ago and got two… just goes to show how out of whack these craft mods are and ags’ lack of attention to the problem

100% Brilliant animus is currently not dropping in dynasty right now
It’s dropping. I got one from one of the mini bosses after the barrells a few days ago. Its just the drop rate is low.

I asked global chat on Delos (AP Southeast) and no one reported getting any drop in a LONG time. Someone also said they got exactly 0 while leveling up a character on a fresh start. I remember being able to get these drop pretty consistently from base Dynasty mini bosses why the sudden change to the drop rate? I honestly thought it was a bug and they weren’t dropping period until I came here and saw the replies. Why the need to make it so hard to have drop?
I have mixed emotions about this statement. I’m sorry to hear both I guess
i used to get it every 1-2 runs when the game was newly released. did hundreds of dynasty runs after that for whole year. didn’t get it once.
