Bring back the old ice spike. With players being able to dodge while rooted, the old ice spike should make a comeback. Before the nerf players could also absorb all the dmg by blocking with their weapons (firestaff, lifestaff etc worked too).
With the blunderbuss being able to oneshot everyone or sns and hatchet players being abel to stun shieldbash and feral rush the from behind, its just fair TO BRING BACK THE OLD ICE SPIKE
And from all the blunderbusses and sns hatchet plays the ice spike required the most skill

I agree the spike should revert. ice is in a bad spot atm. Speaking of … that Wind spell… does anyone ever use that? Seems the flamethrower on fire side is muuuuuch better.

Still possible to get 4-hits. However it’s the smallest pixel perfect aim to do it right now. I agree there should be a little more size to the spikes the nerf was pretty bad and ice damage is pretty much all from spike burst. A little bit bigger chance to 4-hit would feel really good.
Ice spike with this firestorm empower BS is almost one shotting me right now.
it’s ok… as a defensive to keep some distance from melee players untill your stamina loads back again… It’s not always working 100% u need to have really steady aim with it.
As for dmg it’s good only if you have the wind chill perk on your weapon. Good against shield players also. In general it’s ok but i wouldn’t change ice spike/ice shower or ice storm, for wind chill.
Wind chill and ice storm can’t crit either which makes all the crit passives useless in the skill tree for them.
I like Ice spike as it is atm. The problem with ice spike is the server latency… It’s a great counter also for musket, bb and players running with 50con or less. What i don’t like in Ig right now is that heavy attack… i do understand that it needed some tweak but they totally destroyed it…
