Broken quest "Hold Back the Night"

• What is your character name in New World: Wooka
• What server/world did you experience your issue on: Rocabarra
• Describe the issue you are experiencing:
  The quest indicated that you need to craft 4 “Rugged Leather” pieces.
  I already had them.
  You could immediately craft “Resin-Hardened Leather” which I did, but the quest continued to insist on crafting “Rugged Leather”.
  I crafted “Rugged Leather” and the quest showed that now I need to craft “Resin-Hardened Leather” but I already had it crafted. The resources and the recipe were already gone.
  I dropped the quest and went again and knocked out the necessary resources. But there is no recipe and the quest is frozen.

I too have the same exact issue. I took almost the same steps (short of dropping the quest because I did not want to start over). Sorry to Hijack your post…
