Bruisers win wars and OPR but let’s nerf light again?

That’s what you get when bruisers cry cause they can’t catch dex players… it’s funny they complain about bow haste when they get lots of haste, every gap closer in the game, best cc packages… I remeber back in the day people complained about bow haste and these great axe guys had 30 percent haste in bloodlust and were hawking me down but it still wasn’t enough… just how new world players are… you to be a skill game and now it’s not

at this poimt game needs slight tweeks not major rework.

True, aoe mages dont statpad…healers neither, its not scoreboard issue, its bow clearly.

You cannot spam into the enemy team zerg with any other weapon and get kills like you can with the bow. It took me like 7 games to 30 kills with the bow by just spamming arrows into the enemy zerg. I tried doing the same thing with the FS, IG, or BB, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Yes, you can stat pad with the LS, IG, BB, etc.

They just making light more challenging for you, so by your statement more fun right.

I don’t understand AGS, why such drastic changes to the system. PvP gearsets that were gained with a lot of effort become worthless.

Why not solve first the basic problems?

  • Reduce light damage bonus by 5%.
  • Reduce Mortal Empowerment stacks to 10 and only 1% Damage Bonus per stack, can be cleansed.
  • Heal bonus for armor weight: light 15%, medium 5%, heavy -10%.
  • Dramatically act against Aimbots users and cheaters and ban them for lifetime.
  • Then 1 month see how it goes and adjust decent.

The numbers are debatable. Adjustments to improve damage and protection % at the base

You can statpad and get kills ( Ks) with all those weapons you said as much as u can with bow, in case of aoe mages even easier.

The actual problem is people need to learn what to fight with their build and what not to. People whine about light only because the whiners will chase forever. Stop chasing if you are not in light. Ranged/mages kill squishies. Medium and heavy slug it out in the clump.

Light isn’t the problem. It’s ranged light that’s the problem. And even then it’s not a problem since they can’t even win matches!!! We can legit just nerf the musket since it’s annoying as shit and call it a day for now.

When you getting hit from across the map by multiple players it’s a problem. You either heavily nerf arrow fall off and muskets fall off or change the opr map to have a bunch of cover so you can easily break los and people can’t shoot you from a far. Range dex is only a problem in opr… in 3v3 it’s another story where melees and mages run the show

Not against your changes, just gonna hop in for those healer ideas.

If your proposed changes were implemented heavy healers are back to being viable. (Obviously at a high level people won’t run it) but all the OPR enjoyers will be crying that heavy healer is impossible to kill once again.

Because the scoring is dogshit. They need to overhaul it to make people want to do objectives more than stat pad but they’re just nerfing light more instead.

Spam the noob tube (BB mortar) from safe distance and watch yourself get #1.

I remember when the game came out and I would get first place in wars from just popping ice storm on the point lol. People thought I was amazing for it apparently

Nerf light armor!

The scoring in opr is the biggest problem and this is why the meta is the way it is now.

Players can’t help it, they want to be top of the leaderboard.

Capturing a zone only gives 90 points or the equivalent of hitting 3600 dmg on another player.

Killing blow on baron gives 10 points or the equivalent of hitting 400 damage on another player.

Go figure.

As soon as they put dmg scoring where it should be (way lower). And point capture and baron kill were it should be (multitudes higher), opr will be in a better place.

Whilst they are at it sort out assist scoring aswell, right now it is weighted the same as a kill. This isn’t right IMO.
