Please nerf these for the love of all things holy. They’re insanely cheap for such a huge advantage they provide over the game, usually turning it in favor of the team that has the most. I’ve had games where we’re down tremendously and come back with a cheap win due to 3 brutes.
I cannot express the amount of times i’ve been unable to play my character due to being CC chained by brutes and having the enemy warhammers on my ass desperately wanting a kill.
Either make the cost significantly higher or make them despawn after a certain amount of time or even nerf the health, I don’t know but man do they feel like such a cheap win to use and feel like all hell to go against. It’s sad that the meta is to purposely lose forts just to farm up brutes and retake them with little to no effort because of the insane advantage they give in team fight, PvE does not belong in pvp , except baron.
Honestly, if you ask me there should be no farming stuff in opr. Its a pvp map , all we want to do is fight , people dissapear in the map by farming stupid doors, bosses what so ever.I hate it.Only baroness will be enough for opr.
Brutes are fine. Ppl need to realise that the turn in point is actually as important to protect as baroness. You only get to situations with multiple brutes played when ppl don’t fight over their turn in.
P.S. I guess the priest (that “protects” the turn in) could be a bit stronger, so that there’s a bit more time for the other team to reach once some1 is trying to turn in. Might be good to make it not solo-able.
I main tank in PVE and PVP. i have two sets of gear, one with Carn gems and one with Opals. If i’m on a team, they have no trouble handling a fort with brutes. If you have competent tanks on your team they should be pulling aggro on the brute and taking him away from the fort. The rest of the team takes fort and kills opposition. Then the team focuses down the brute. it really isnt that hard to bypass a brute. Its only hard when there is no teamwork.
Brute I notice don’t seem to be a problem for tanks given they run right past them and ignore them. I assume this is to do with having grit. For everyone else its like being in a washing machine. As a mage, I just leave the point now if I see a brute or two and they are being ignored. Its not the damage, it is the non stop pulling and pushing that’s OP.
