[BUG] AOE spells do not trigger anymore

  USA East

• Describe the issue you are experiencing:
  Spells such as Pillar of Fire, Ice Storm, and Meter Shower do not trigger. When pressing the corresponding key (doesn’t matter if it is changed from Q, R, or F) the animation shows the circle of where the spell will be placed, but never triggers the actual spell. Restarted the game many times, unequipped and reequipped both ice gauntlet and Fire staff with no luck. I have changed the key bindings (Q to R, R to F, etc.) for all the spells mentioned above, but the problem still persists.

• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay:
  Can’t cast AOE spells. effectively broken my characters ability fight more than one enemy at a time.

• (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue:
  Not able to recover; still a problem.

• (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:

  

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Just press the corresponding Key for any of the AOE spells mentioned above ( Pillar of Fire, Ice Storm, Meter Shower, etc.) and the problem occurs.

Known issue, a fix is being tested and will be deployed next patch, dev mentioned it in client authorative thread under general discussion

I have a similar issue where the animation plays, but no damage done in 80% of cases. I can’t reproduce it systematically unfortunately.

Could it be linked to Aoe Spells deal no damage unless very very close to centre ?
