[BUG] Autorun feature sporadically stops working

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Autorun functionality stops working sporadically sometimes. When pressing the default key for autorun (I did not change my key bindings) ‘=’, the autorun functionality does not activate.

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Sure it is a bug.

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: It is not very nice having to keep the ‘w’ key in order to run while trying to check the map / skills / attributes, or the worst part, check the chat and write something.

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Yes, sometimes I was able to recover by teleporting somewhere on the map, sometimes it just came back to normal after a while doing nothing special, just questing around the map. Another 100% guarantee solution would be re-log into the game, but this is not an option because of the high queue time…

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: Unfortunately I don’t have any picture or video, but this bug should be self explanatory, the autorun feature is not working.

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: This always happened after playing the game for a while (questing, expeditions, breaches, gathering, just normal gameplay)… Unfortunately I can’t tell you a specific playtime, but I can tell is not really a common issue. This is not happening often.

Happened to me a few times.
Today it seemed to occur right after I reconnected from a Lag Detected → Disconnect situation.
It corrected itself after I successfully interacted with a harvesting node, but it’s not clear if that was necessarily what restored autorun functionality.

Thanks for bringing this up, a friend who also experienced this issue told me that he was able to recover the autorun functionality after interacting with a harvesting node.
Seems that the recovering of the autorun might be related to the interaction…

I also had this today, and it fixed itself after mining an iron vein. I had it happen the other day and a relog fixed it.

Happens when you attempt to loot a resource node that was already harvested. This disables your autorun, the only way to fix it is to loot another object.

Just have the same after eache reload cant play anymore !

This happens to me as well, and it’s random. I’ve noticed it while doing portals.

Happens basically like clock work when attempting to close a portal someone else is already closing. Easiest fix for now is just to gather something nearby, e.g. flint, a bush etc.
