This is happening to me. Not all items, but some items have this issue.
This bug is really boring i need to reopen TP like 100 times to it let me sell my things.

Having same issue, cant place buy orders.

same issue; with selling items in storage of town I am at or even inventory
Same issue, Can not sell even from inventory. Currently no listings…I bet the bots can sell though!
Getting a message saying “Item at different trading post” even if it is less than what I currently have on-hand in my personnel inventory.

I was able to sell once I paid to transfer the item I had stored in the other Storage sheds In settlements owned by my faction. Seems you can not sell any item if you have any of that item in storage in any linked storage.
This should not be happening…

Same issue doesn’t matter if in my inventory or in the shed in the same town.
hard to be certain but i think it may be impacting items that i listed in the gap before TPs were shut down and rolled back - maybe some marker left on those items?
Also getting this error 
ITEM AT A DIFFERENT TRADING POST. - This is still happening. Yet another long term bug without acknowledgement nor resolution…
How long does it take you to find obvious bugs? This is beyond ridiculous, along with the trading post resetting frequently so you have to start all over again.
Hire some decent developers FFS!
Same thing. To work around it, I fast traveled to another city to sell my items.
This has been happening to me ever since November Update. It is unacceptable that it is not corrected. Instead of a push to market and essentially leaving all of us in a neverending unannounced beta, fix the programming problems. If the folks doing that now cannot hire people who can.
This has been exceedingly disappointing. It’s a VERY good thing that you do not make us subscribe.
By not fixing “known issues”, you are running off high-quality, dedicated players. If the basic playability of this game doesn’t improve, I will not return after the new year. I will also ensure that anyone I know who is thinking about the game is made aware of the way bugs and problems are mismanaged.
Lump me in with the crowd. The item is in my inventory, I do not have any of said item at another town’s storage, nor up for sale in another settlement. Tried selecting only the settlement I’m in, rather than all settlements, and it affects nothing.
Has hit me for the first time today, trying to sell some newly crafted hatchets in Monarchs Bluff. Cant get it to go away

I really don’t understand why this issue isn’t being addressed. It’s been 3 days and this weird stuff is happening with no acknowledgement. There’s not an infinite amount of posts on here guys (devs). Can we at least get some kind of response. Don’t know how else you’re going to give people confidence or patience if bunch of people having the same problem with no answer.

I took a day off to do volunteering, now logged on just now and can’t place any buy orders due to “item at a different Trade Post” bug
