Bug - Character appears dead when I enter the game

An annoying situation is happening. Yesterday when trying to enter the game I realized that it was taking too long to load.

After a few minutes of waiting, I finally managed to login. To my surprise, I came across the following situation:

  1. my character was dead;

  2. the map was completely crazy, I couldn’t identify the location that was exactly;

  3. The character is locked inside the game’s setting between the Ruined Mountains and Sulfur Sands maps;

  4. I can’t perform any kind of activity or revive.

After a few minutes in this situation, the game identifies that I’m AFK and drops for inactivity.

I sent some tickets to Amazon but it didn’t work, unfortunately the support team is very inefficient.

Does anyone know what can be done to fix this situation?

Thanks for the report. I’m really sorry about the problem you’re having. Please try to Run a file check: Steam Support :: Verify Integrity of Game Files in order to fix any corrupted file.

After the step above:

  • Shut down the computer completely. Turn it on, then run the Steam client as administrator and try the game again.
