You can get company invites while being in a company, when you accept the invite before leaving previous company, you’ll still receive company chat messages from previous company.
So basically you’ll get message from both companies in chat, but can only interact with the new company.
Would consider this a bug, exploit if you think it could be used in a ill way.
I haven’t dropped out of my current company to see if this would fix it or not yet. But I have swapped between two companies and experienced this bug both times.
In the screenshot it shows The Devi’s Maw chat while I’m in Rulers.
Edit* Did some testing, leaving your current company doesn’t quick fix the bug. You have to rejoin previous company leave that one and rejoin current, to get that bug to stop.
