What is should do is immediately open up any territory a newly-disbanded company owned and set it back to what they looked like at launch. Now that would mean the first company to put up the cash to buy it could do so, but it’s the only reasonable action I can see.
I know some people would say it should stay in that company’s faction and be locked from being purchased by companies form other factions, but if they just bailed then it should be wide open.
What it should not do is stay locked to a disbanded company.
The Declare on the territory didnt work and we never got pulled into war. so the territory is still stuck with the company that disbanded. FL manage to flip, but WW is still bugged.
I am a Consul for the declaring company in this war. As of the patch today, the warboard looks blank just as previously posted. I can see the army through the use of the map menus, but cannot manage the army at all. This happened last week when the defending company left and our declaration money was taken, but we were not pulled in.
We declared again yesterday, hoping that it wouldn’t break because the defending company owned First Light as well and that territory had a successful war. The difference between our first declaration on Windsward and the declaration on First Light being that the declaration on First Light happened after the company completely disbanded. We were hopeful that we could follow the same suit and only be out 30k total coin for having to do 2 declarations.
Windsward is one of the most sought after and utilized territories in this game and is currently just rotting due to failed invasions while governed by a non-existent company. The server, Pleroma, as a whole suffers with this type of neglect. We need a swift resolution to this issue.
I’m glad this has been looked into it. I posted in a other page about it 4 days ago. The problem still going on atm and that does not help us keeping our server pop or appealing for to who ae looking to transfer to us. We needed that fix a while ago. Thanks
I think a territory of a disbanded company’s territory is bugged should be put up for a lottery.
Territory of disbanded company should immediately be put into state of conflict.
Bids accepted after end of whichever happens first, war or invasion, when it would unlock for a territory in conflict to be allowed to bid. This is so it isn’t a surprise and only available to those online that happen to see or know a territory-owning company is disbanding.
Bids accepted from all companies, regardless of faction, so the server can keep moving.
All bids considered equal (as opposed to being weighted when pushing influence).
How much to bid? Maybe 100k same as original map territory purchase? 15k like the highest tier of war declaration? Make a new tier 20 or 25k for this specific purpose?
It’s been 4 days from a response in this thread about our server. it’s been a few days in another thread about the same thing in another server War - influence - broken - no one in company. This problem is allowing taxes to bleed out from these server economies. The patch is out, prioritization of this would be greatly appreciated.
Edited to include ALL active companies as it is the active player base that keeps this game alive.
