This issue is getting increasingly worse for a lot of people.

For 3 days in a row I can’t craft gloves at the Outfitting Station to increase the armor creation up to 200. The warehouses are full of resources that I cannot spend … AGS fix this as soon as possible! @Luxendra @NW_Mugsy At least tell me that you know about this problem and are working on solving it.
I think I kind of found the fix for this. Not sure if it’s going to work for the other players.
The fix: Lower your resolution before crafting.
I tried it and it works. I think around 40 fps is needed in order to be able to craft.
Usually it cancels the animation before crafting or during crafting.
So the issue might be in the fps itself.

So, I can say that it doesn’t really work.
I am no longer having this issue but it’s nothing AGS has done to fix it. My PC crashed (couldn’t even POST). After days of troubleshooting I just got a new system and now, after installing the game on the new desktop I no longer have this issue. Not sure if anyone has tried reinstalling the game. I believe a few have, but it’s not a fix that should have to happen. AGS still needs to fix this.

Emptying cache doesn’t work
But just for a game I won’t set up a new system.
But good to hear this is a workaround for the desperate.

I think you have hit the nail on the head there Vince1. I had this issue and wrote the workaround up there but when I replaced my pc (same network etc) the problem vanished. I have over 60 frames constantly now and NEVER get kicked from crafting, no matter how busy it is, no matter what town it is. Nothing stops me crafting now.
Previously I was having a nightmare. I bet you are right. I bet every single person with this issue has under 40 fps in towns.
Are you guys having this problem still? Last update changed something I don’t know what but it seem to fix the issue for me. I now can use even the outfitting station with %50 success. I did not changed anything on my PC etc. so this should be due to something about the game update.
On the other hand (and i did this after i noticed the stations started to work again so it is not directly about it) I noticed updating the BIOS improved game performance significantly for me. If there are some who did not try that, maybe this can solve your issue.
