Bug - exposed XML in chat

Here’s a bug and how to reproduce it:

  1. hit enter to start a chat
  2. ALT-click an item to link it to the chat
  3. Add a less than “<” symbol after the item link

This will cause the item’s XML data to be exposed. Not game breaking, but a bug nonetheless.

I discovered this trying to highlight an item by making a ASCII arrow to it <— like this

AND your FORUMS also do not escape HTML symbols in user’s posts. Come on Amazon that’s web programming 101!
