- What is your character name in New World: Rohne
- What server/world did you experience your issue on: Takamagahara and now on Orun (after merge)
- Describe the issue you are experiencing: Log into the game (normal), but character cannot move (no walk or run). I can jump (spacebar) and dodge (keybind to mouse), but cannot interact with Trading Post, Storage, or House (keyboard keys, other than space bar, do not respond when pressed). I have to jump to change directions. Camera still works and lets me pan with the mouse. Attack and block animations work. Pressing keys for Q, R, and F skills do not work. Cannot open inventory from keyboard.)
I tried turning off my keyboard and turning it on again, but that didn’t work. And the spacebar still works, so its not a hardware issue. - Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug

- (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Only relogging into the game fixes it, but it kills me (even in town) and then I have to repair all my gear (200 gold each time this happens)

The only fix is to log in from completely shutting down the game. Most of the time, this “kills” me (though in getting ready to take a screenshot of it, it didn’t kill me that time. Rare, but better than a 200 gold repair bill).
- What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
Its an intermittent bug; I haven’t figured out what triggers it and what doesn’t. But when it happens…
- Log into the game (normal)
- Discover you’re stuck and most of the keys on the keyboard are unresponsive (except the spacebar)
- Cannot interact with anything or use keybound skills, but can use mouse keys.
- Completely close out the game (just going to the “lobby” doesn’t change anything)
- Restart the game from desktop
- Usually, but not always, get a message that “You Died” (and a choice of respawn locations). I always log out from inside a settlement (not my house; just beside a cart or something off the main road
- Respawn with a 200 gold repair bill because of this bug.
- Now you can actually play the game and move normally.
