- What is your character name in New World: The Pain Mistress
- What server/world did you experience your issue on: Delos/AP SouthEast
- Describe the issue you are experiencing: Looting any item after the 5th different type causes the loot window to stop updating, even if the new items you pickup is of the same type as the ones you have just picked up.
- Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug (Potentially an encumbering exploit)
- (if a bug) How did the issue effect your game play: Upon picking up items you no longer no know with any accuracy how much is being picked up, unless you look in your inventory screen.
- (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No it seems to be permanently effecting my character as of the latest update in February, but it only seems to effect me when picking up anything with more than 5 different items at time.
- (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:
Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2 - What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Just find yourself a plentiful amount of bulrush plants for example (maybe a good 10 plants) then start harvesting them as fast as possible, as soon as you get the loot window popping up as items are being picked up, you usually get 2-3 types of items in a single harvest (bulrush cobs, reeds, and some kind of fishing lure) all of which in minor minor quantities. After you harvest the second bulrush plant, the items as normal will add to the previous items in the loot window, or adding to it for various type of fishing lures. Now after the 3rd/4th harvesting of a bulrush plant, the loot window now starts showing the items you are picking up which are the same type you have already picked up, but they no longer stack with the original previously harvested items. Now any further harvesting of bulrush plants will no longer show in your loot window, but the precious ones you looted will stay in the loot window but wont show any indication you picked up anything. (or no quantity changes at all)
Thanks for reporting this, I’ll send it to the developers. And thanks so much for the detailed replication guide, it’ll help the developers look into it.
