[BUG] Needs Resolve! Combat audio music blends in with ambient music

This is my first post about the same situation back in early May. Although I recieved a notification from a CM that this will be looked into, the problem still persists to this day and more than often I don’t leave the music on.

FIRST POST EARLY MAY:

  • What is your character name in New World: II-Melisandre-II

  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Ohonoo

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: While out of combat in different locations, previous area (Skysong Temple) music is still looping while not in area or engaged in combat. Relocated from Skysong Temple to Skysong Crypt and same “combat” music from Skysong Temple is plaything through being in another location or engaged in a different creature, i.e. Lost creatures from Skysong Crypt.

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Music keeps looping, unchanged ambient music from one location to another.

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Current solution is to either relocate to a settlement to reset the looped combat music changing to settlement ambient music/sounds. But then would have the same issue when in a different location while in combat until returning to a settlement or exit game then restart the game to reset the looped combat music/ambient sounds.

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: N/A

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: N/A


TODAY:

  • What is your character name in New World: II-Melisandre-II

  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Ohonoo

  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: While out of combat and out of area of Myrkguard in Shattered Mountains, I teleported to Reekwater settlement. Upon arrival, the “combat” music still bled over the ambient/music audio while in Reekwater settlement. On my way to Eternal Pools, the ambient music changed from Reekwater settlement to Eternal Pools, but, the “combat” audio from Myrkguard still remained. Frustrated, I put the music and ambient level to 0 and just have regular game volume. Sadly because the music in this game is very engaging. Furthermore, upon leaving Eternal Pools and teleported back to Reekwater Settlement, I checked to see if the problem still persisted, it did. The combat music was still from Myrkguard regardless If I teleported to my house or settlement, the audio bug was still present and never disappeared.

  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Combat music keeps looping from previous area combat engagement. Ambient music from one location to another will change, but the combat music still loops over ambient sounds.

  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Current solution is to exit the game and re-enter to fix the audio issue. Same issue will reoccur when in a different location while not in combat.

  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: N/A

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: N/A
