Bug or working as intended?

Iv noticed when using the void blade. When you use the detonate ability it sheathes your void blade and on your long cooldown. Curious if this is “working as intended” or a bug…

Intended, do you really think it’s balanced to be able to lung across the map and life steal to full while detonate is active???

I mean for goodness sake mages thought it was unfair to lose the ability to active detonate then lock them selfs in tomb and become invulnerable to negate incoming damage or dying so detonate goes off… what a bunch of jokers. It’s not like there is another passive in the game that makes you completely invulnerable during detonate. Oh wait there is! Death defy on hatchet! But only you can run around, dodge, attack, stagger and survive any damage while detonate is active while sticking to your target, while tomb locks you in place and you can’t move and anyone around can simply walk away. But AGS felt detonating in tomb was too strong but while using death defy us perfectly acceptable.

Sarcasm alert.

If other void gauntlet abilities don’t cause the void blade to dismiss and go on CD then the heartrune shouldn’t either.

It’s not only detonate, all runes do it.

Working as intended. Little bugs like this give them easy patch notes.

I mean, they can’t seem to do anything in this game without a fix after release. Turkey trophy is getting patched. I mean wtf, this is tech already in the game on a perk and trophy functionality.

I know I just wanted to make it clear that all runes are causing this.

Probably because it’s a new input and it overrides the blade. So the blade get put away.
