I have this bug also. I can not craft at the outfitting station at all and sometimes at other crafting stations. I rarely have issues at the shops or arcane etc, but the ones where I have to craft items, I can’t do. I am able to smelt, weave, woodwork, and leatherwork. It worked fine up until an updated a month or so ago. Tried different towns, different times all of that…

Same here. I’ve had the issue since 1.0.4 but recently my inventory also opens when I’m at any crafting station.
I’m 100% sure this is related to the reset on the auction house big and the interrupted action bars. It’s been about two weeks without any acknowledgment of AGS

Also having this problem, it is happening at multiple stations. I’m sorry to say but relogging to fix a bug is not a fix to a bug. This has been an issue for 2 weeks now and still no response or fix for this hugely know issue.

I have also had this issue since patch 1.0.4 and I have looked for and tried any solutions I could find, even going as so far as to uninstall and reinstall my game. I STILL have this issue. All I think we can do at this point is hope the Dev’s see these post’s and fix the issue asap.

Did you read the post I marked as a solution? Relogging was not in the recommended steps. And it wasn’t a fix to a bug, it was a workaround. A fix is where you’ll never have the issue again, a workaround is what desperate gamers come up with when 8934 other bugs are given priority over the ones we’re quitting over. We’re still waiting on AGS to actually fix this issue, sadly.

Well there is a patch in like 3 days, so lets hope they can get it sorted. But honestly i got a feeling that crafting is just an afterthought for the AGS team and it may persist for quite a bit.

Crafting was failing a lot for me the other day as well, but only in Everfall when it was extremely densely populated, and I assumed it had to do with some server lag or something. I went to monarch’s bluffs which only had a few people in comparison, and it worked fine there.

i have the same problem and I can’t use the store properly bcs it cancels out when i get to the 4th page.

Its a weird fix but this is what i do when i get the crafting bug.
-
I netlimit my connection to get lag detected and then open the crafting menu
-
try and craft my item - it should fail because lag detected but it will not take you off the crafting menu (this means you did it right)
-
turn off net limiter
-
proceed to successfully craft my item in that menu that didnt close after failed attempt.
Still uses materials and everything so no exploit its just using the lag detected to not glitch out
And you also have to do it EVERYTIME

I haven’t been able to craft properly since the last patch. I tried all the suggestions I have found to work around this, nothing works. It has nothing to do with a quest, since I’m just crafting to get skills up. This is the most frustrating thing, I can’t craft, so I can’t store things anymore. I can’t sell them, I can’t buy anything. This has screwed the whole economy of the game. I know I’m not the only one with this issue, but lots seem to have no problem. That makes it worse, because you feel they’ll never get around to fixing it. When I attempt to hit the craft button, the little cost box comes up, then I know I probably won’t be able to craft. This just started happening after the last patch. It’s making it impossible to play, I’m always at near encumbered. I really like this game, but the glitches are killing me.

Its still not fixed and I think its even more bugger than it was before mayor update

I have same issue for 3 weeks. Still not fixed on 1.1 patch. I dont want to play anymore if i can’t craft anything.

for me the problem gets bigger and bigger. at first (some weeks ago) it was the occasional “crafting attempt failed”. now it even is on most crafting stations. a workaround can sometimes be to craft the first item on the list to get some crafting going. but this workaround never works with clothing or tools meaning no bags or chests for me, no furniture. no armor. tried all the things others in this threat mentioned to no avail. it MUST have been in one of the last patches because i could craft in the beginning.

3 patches so far and we are still dancing around the tables and failing all the dam time, when are we going to get this sorted?

This is one of the things I enjoy most in the game…if it doesn’t get fixed…I was really hoping this patch would include a fix for us

I’m having this issue as well, specifically it started with the outfitting station. In my guild we have been cooperation to each work on one skill to 200, I initially chose outfitting. Because of this bug I had to switch to furniture making. Now today the bug has spread to the workshop, essentially making crafting anything that I need to level impossible. This has been the biggest inconvenience for me personally since the game released. It makes me want to quit playing when I cannot craft anything I want to craft. I’m extremely upset that we have received no response at all on this issue. This is not a bug that just affects a few people, there are multiple people in my guild alone that have this issue, it seems like I have had the most problems with it, but this is something that has affected many players in the game and makes a core part of the game literally unplayable. This is a major issue that needs to be made a priority. I never post on forums, this is my last resort. If this is not resolved soon, or at the very least confirmed to be an issue that they are working to resolve, then I will be quitting the game. It’s been going on for at least a couple of weeks, and I’m sick of it. Outside of this issue I have enjoyed the game a lot and have been very happy with the rate many issues are fixed, but this bug has aggravated me so many times since I’ve started playing that I just don’t want to play unless something is done about it.
