What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Trying to put items in storage shed.
Tried relogging, /unstuck, moving and picking up the storage chests in my house but still the problem consists. Also, my property tax is paid. I have free space but can’t use it.
UPDATE: I figured it out but might not work all the time, I don’t really know. I don’t want to recreate the issue again.
I picked my all three storage chests up and took out the excess weight from the storage shed. I got it down to about 1000kg. Then I put my storage chests to the ground floor. I have a 3 story house and I had recently put them on second and third floor. Now that I put them on the ground floor again, the issue disappeared.
I’m also having this bug, when trying to store my things I get the message: “The item cannot be transferred because of max space and weight restrictions”. Also, I can’t place new buy orders because of that, very annoying.

I tried this solution you recommended @Eisenyx and it did not work for me… I have this issue too and its getting really annoying. I’m wasting taxes on a house in a town I cant even use for storage. Maybe i need to make my own post
It can be, that theres a max number of different items in each storage. Had this problem and figured out when i remove 1 unique stack/item i can deposit another, doesnt matter how heavy it is,
That is infuriating. Why bother having a max item limit when you don’t even display what that value is? Amazon is making it real difficult for me to continue loving this game.
In another thread it was said you can store up to 500 different items in one storage. I didn’t count it myself. But usually if you remove for example 1 mod you can put in 1000 t1 raw hide instead
looking like 500 item difference may be the problem, took out a load of crafting mods, and now I can put more in, so 500 items, 500 items with your max weight, mine 2200 weight, makes no sense, please fix it so you can have the weight limit not “500” different then this bug :< want to use all the weight plz

It is not a single storage shed for me but all storage sheds, I have up to 4 rows of Alchemy ingredients ranging from .1 kg to 5 or 6 kg in weight and I cannot place them into storage due to weight limit. Even in an empty storage shed. It has persisted for 4 or 5 days now and I’m accumulating more and more items in my inventory. Yesterday this bug has started to include crafting mods as well.
This is still a bug as I just experienced it as well, it definitely is an unique item limit as when I too all of my crafting mods out I was able to fill up the shed with other items. whats the point of storing crafting mods across multiple sheds? Just moved all of my crafting mods to a town i don’t craft in or do anything else in… great job amazon not when I need something will have to either pay to transfer it or purchase it off the market. maybe I can get a prime delivery driver to deliver it to me whan I need it…
had the same shit, seems there is a limit of 500 unique items that you can put. i dont understand why cuz like that its useless to pay for golden chests and put points on the storage after some time. if i have 3700 space i should have the freedom do put what i want inside
