Bug --**Weapons not swapping**

Weapon swap is set to “MOUSE4”. Randomly and quite often, when I hit mouse 4 to swap weapons, that UI shows the swap and then it immediately swaps back to the original weapon. sometimes 2-3 time’s in a row. This is borderline game breaking for me as often times the cooldowns are active on the pervious weapon and you just stand there getting hit until you realize. Then I keep looking down at the keyboard to make sure I am hitting the right button while getting smashed in the face. I have died several times because of this and been close to death 100’s. Nothing like pulling out your melee weapon when a giant elite is right on top of you only to fire an arrow and have none of your CDs work, then get smashed by some giant low attack while you are looking down trying to figure out wtf is happening.

This is really really bad.

I also often waste cooldowns on my melee weapon when switching to the bow to range pull a mob.

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Bind weapon swap to an extra mouse key and press it. If you press it every 4-5 seconds for 10-20 seconds, you are bound to see the issue.

Same here. Exactly the same.

Same here, rapier and fire staff using the mouse scroll tested multiple times made sure its just one scroll, the interface show it is selecting the new weapon then cancel the swap

I really hope they fix this. it is super annoying and a little embarrassing when people see me, Its completely screwing up my ability to combat.

I finally fixed this!!!

It’s a little embarrassing, but it was a hardware issue on my end. Some Corsair gaming mice (and possibly others) have issues with the button contacts.

To tell if this is your issue,

Go into the game client setting and unbind all the weapon switch keys and instead set your swap button to “cycle weapon up”. This causes the client to produce an audible click when the button in pressed. In my case, sometimes I would hear one click and other times 5-6 in super-rapid succession.

I was able to fix this on my mouse by mashing the offending button HARD several times. then it just started working right. I’m only getting one small click sound now and weapon swapping is working as expected. FINALLY RELIEF!!

no more looking stupid standing there getting hit. Will be a whole different game for me.
