Bugged Cooldown Timers for Abilities and Potions/Food?

  • What is your character name in New World: SirKillboBaggins
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Olympus
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: The cooldown timers for food/potions and abilities does not function properly. Once the timer gets to 3 seconds, an extra second is added and then the countdown ticks from 2.9 down to 0. If you time the abilities and potions, there is an extra second added to every ability and utility cooldown. I am not sure if this intended, but it doesn’t seem right. If this is intended, can we get the cooldown UI revamped? Once any abilities get to 3 seconds, the abilities pause and then start at 2.9 seconds and count down to 0. There is a second of difference in the actual cooldown numbers from what I can tell.

I see what is happening now, but it does not make sense to have the countdown timers start without showing their decimal value. For example, Shockwave has a 20 sec cooldown. the moment you use the ability, the countdown timer starts at 19, but is really 19.9 then ticks down from there. The problem is that there is no visual to show this other than a flat 19. Once the timer gets to 3.9, it only shows 3, and when it actually hits 3 seconds, starts showing the decimals at 2.9. Probably should be changed to include tenths of a second to more accurately display cooldown timers.
