So I need to understand something. Cause my server said that 1% is 1000 luck bonus which make no sense in term of calculations out of what I can see. So Database say that you get a maximum of 2500 luck bonus on rolls from chest, gloves, helm, legs and boots. The maximum roll that can be on those piece is 5%. So how does 1% equal 1000 if 2500 luck roll equal 25%? Am I the one that does not understand the logic out of it or???
Here you go
Mining Luck and You
The first thing I must explain is that 1,000 luck points equals 1% luck with Mining. The same can be said the other way; 1% Mining luck is equal to 1,000 luck points. This conversion works with Mining because all the loot tables used are 100,000 roll loot tables. In other cases a 100k loot table may not be used, making that conversion incorrect.
With this conversion in mind, the BiS Mining Luck turns out to be 52.3% fully buffed or 52,300 Mining Luck points.
That does not make any sense… Cause Database website specify that you get 2500 luck point from gear. but the % roll maximum on this is 5. So yea that why im confuse
Could it be that Database is out of date?
If you get the whole set:
Each piece give 5% so 25% or 25000
Add mining luck from Pickaxe 9.3% max we are now at 34.3% or 34300
Add mining luck for 3 trophy 1.5%x3=4.5% or 4500
We are now at 38.8% or 38800 then we add food for another 2% or 2000 we are now at 40.8% or 40800
Then amulet with 9.5% or 9500
We are now at 48.3% or 48300
Finally you are level 200 at mining 200x10=2000 so another 2% we are now at 50.3% mining luck or 50300
The datamined does show the max BiS is 53% or 53000 so I must have missed something but that’s how it works.
So the database guide on void ore drop rate is calculated on the wrong stats. That explain alot now than thank you.
