Can’t craft items using bear claw for keenly empowered

  • Is this a bug or an exploit: pick any crafting weapon and try to use the bear claw. You can’t use it for anything to make a weapon with keenly empowered with the crafting mod. Even though large bear paws exist.
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: can’t craft weapons with chosen perk even though the crafting mod exist
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: nope
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: have ancient bear claw in your inventory. Go craft any weapon, can’t pick or use bear claw .

tried to craft a spear with keenly empowered. no chance. Fix this asap please!

Bump , this isn’t in the PTR either ans you added new perks. You had a chance to fix this in the same content update

Hey @Horu, Welcome to New World forums :slight_smile:

Can you tell me if you see an error message like ’ crafting failed ’ or does it kick you out of the crafting table?

[Large Bear Paw]
[Massive Bear Paw]

none of these 3 perks shows up as an option to use as a guaranteed perk when crafting weapon/armor.

(Also Ancient Bear Paw has a typo in the description but thats low prio) :wink:

Please send me a PM with the game logs link through (https://pastebin.com/ ).

Instructions for finding the in-game logs:

  1. Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.
  2. Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/LogBackups.
  3. Upload the latest 3 files in .txt format.

With this information, we’ll be able to investigate the issue further. Thank you :slight_smile:

I have the information already at the top . You can log in the game and see any time you try to craft a weapon and even if you have those bear claws that give the mod you can’t add it to the craft. It’s not in the selected window for my weapon.

You can’t do it the following areas

Forge
Arcane table
Workshop

Which is everything for a weapon. Right now we can’t craft anything with keenly empowered let alone these are drops we can get and are legendary to be able to roll on weapons.

@Arshi this is a bug on every server why do you need logs? It’s missing from the perk list.

they follow a set script to collect information for bugs. havent you seen them asking for dxdiag dumps for people who have missing items/gold/houses? lol

Bump. Please add Ancient Bear Claw to the special resource perks selection table for weapons for crafting.

This was first reported over two months ago. Most of us realize there are more important bugs to fix at the moment, but something like this feels like it should have been a relatively simple fix. There are so many of these small item issues with the TP and crafting menus in the game that have been prevalent for months now. Is there no one on the dev team that works on small quick fixes like these? They all seem to get shrugged off. Really makes me question this AGS team, is this a lack of devs? or poor management?

This bug of not being able to add the perk to roll weapons has been in the game for two months and hasn’t been solved yet. Is there an ETA for the fix? @Arshi @Luxendra @Kay
