Just want to ask if you can dye cash shop armor/shields? Some stuff I’d like to buy, but don’t necessarily want it to stay the color that is is base. I’ll skip buying them if they can’t be dyed, but figured I’d ask before I load up extra money. Thanks in advance, and if they’re not able to be dyed seriously wtf amazon?

No, skins cannot be dyed at all. Doesn’t matter paid or not

Damn ok thanks, just saved me money though. Amazon you hear that, you lost out on money because you have dyes in the game but they can’t be used on things people spend actual money on. Guess this is the only amazon owned product that hates money.

Well, now that we know that Amazon will let the “authorities” have all of your Ring data without your permission…you can add that to your list.

That’s why I say it’s one of the worst gaming stores there is. You can’t customize anything you buy for the character. I wonder how they monetize it.

Ich konnte bis jetzt alle Rüstungen, die ich IM Spiel gefunden habe, umfärben. Die gekauften Rüstungen aus dem Shop kann man nicht einfärben. Aber alles was ich in New World an Rüstungen finde, kann ich im Originalzustand einfärben…
I’d like to dye cash shop gears.
I think its not implemented cuz then Amazon will limit themselves in sets creation. Some armor pieces might be repetitive but different colors mix.
Anyway I’d like to dye, but I’m also fine with current situation.
That’s new then, bc everytime I’ve ever tried to dye any skin bought from the store, weapon/armor, anything and looked on forums like 4-5 months ago and the CM/CL’s both said no, no skin is dyeable. Only normal gear/weapons, no skins
how does the UI work when you dye the shield?
Afaik - shields have always been a little buggy on dyes.
For example, you can click “Show All” and select a dye you don’t have to put on a shield, close out, and it will actually keep that color on for a bit. It’s not permanent and others don’t see it.
Regarding using a dye on CS shield skins, I was told this was also temporary and wears off if you switch shields - have you noticed it being persistent?
