I’m a retired disabled vet. I am bored to death hence I play this game. I’d check all the US East servers daily for bots if you allow me to. I’m sick of seeing the same bots after 3-5 days of reporting them doing the same route, not reacting to nodes not being there, and basically ruining the game. I’m not looking for a 0 bot experience but im looking for a speedy reaction to them at least. I want it to be non profitable to continue to try, to waste their time and resources. Shoot even let them continue to just farm and delete the items right out their inventory constantly. Delete the coin they make. And let them continue to think they are doing things.
Literally i’d do it for free. Just give me the tools and ill hunt them down.
I mean, you aren’t wrong but I went to WW to do my fave lil iron mining spot. and Bam Bill Clinton Joh still here after 2 days of reports. And 5 days later he still in the same spot doing the same thing. It’s kind of a bummer and I didn’t want to play anymore and came to the forums…
Exactly, theres hundreds of bots across dozens of servers in a dozen territories on hundreds of farming nodes lol…you wouldnt be able to stop much, what you can do is lure a mob over and get it to gank the bot, or ask for a pvp server so bots can be ganked by you lol
Lumberyard netcode isnt capable of procedural generation on the open world unfortunately. Otherwise this would be cool for mmorpgs to achieve one day, but we’re not there yet
AGS took a long time to ban bots, cause they ban the bots in wave. You know why? Cause they have the revenue from each game bought by the bot users
If they ban too quickly, the bot users will think that it’s not beneficial anymore to sell the gold cause the bots would be banned quicker and won’t make a profit off the game bought.
Hence they won’t buy the game anymore. and AGS would make less profit
