Can Mods Clear New World Forum

I mean regardless, if someone is harassing me at my own establishment I’m not sure if that’s the first thing I’ll be thinking about haha. Hopefully I’m seeing between the lines and maybe the analogy isn’t great here, but perhaps you are saying that sometimes when people complain there often is a reason and that should be considered. I think that is pretty reasonable. I think quitting posts are a good example of this. Many are not constructive but they do outline that there is a deeper issue that needs to be addressed.

Although I would argue that people need to communicate better and be more constructive most of the time, but some of these posts do this.

Are you flagging my posts just for the sake of it…the last 2 i posted were deleted within 5 min

why would I do that
I cant see ur message which i replied with “kekw” something sus going on

Klas, i am disappointed. Ags is already too far out of touch. The irony here, is that this thread is a preposterous complaint just like the ones it is complaining about lol.

People can create threads about anything involving new world. Even if its harsh criticism. The game will never get better if its just shills screaming from the crow’s nest that there are no holes in the boat while the boat is taking on water fast.

New world, in its current state… Sucks ass.
If they released the alpha version separately, i would reroll on that version in a heartbeat. At this point, my entire guild is just waiting for the next game to release because new world is a massive untapped potential with pretty graphics. Ags can only know this by reading the quitter threads on forums. If they ignore the forums, they will continue making generic pve work and calling it a game.

If they ignore the forum it would be better, most topics are “i died to x nerf that” “I cant do this nerf it”

Your original post didnt mention nerf complaints.

What we are lacking here is the normal standard of requiring a subscription to the game to have access to the forums. In my opinion they really should figure out an active way to moderate who gets to participate on the official forums based on game activity. Like if you haven’t logged into the game in the last 14 days you can’t post on the forums until you do login. Or something along those lines.

Don’t be that guy.

There are a lot of useless topics and much of it is clutter. If it isn’t of value to the community or an active discussion it should be removed period.

This isn’t a discussion on freedom of speech.

“I’m done posts” while they’re really just pity parties, are pretty harmless dude. But seriously, the code of conduct bit is loosely followed. If it were to be enforced, at least devs for warning starting from (X) day no more funny business n we’d see who lines up n who falls off.

On another note, we are free to say just about whatever we want as long as its within the ToS of the forum which is roughly the same as the actual game. Rule 9 has to be the funniest one considering some forum threads get wild. Rules 1,3,4, & 8 are roughly the same concept with different wording. Though those rules should be saved for people of like mind. Not identical opinion rather simply the same conversational output. When it comes to some real fruit cakes on here, screw rules 1, 3, 4, & 8 there’s gonna be PvP. Just depends.

I don’t think clearing those posts will serve much purpose though. Obviously posts that are a train wreck of negativity with nothing constructive found in it probably be my guest, when its articulated leave it alone. These days people have gotten too used to acting like being rude, obnoxious, loud, and or crude is somehow still criticism. But it’s not. It is however a waste of peoples time to sort through 60 shades of grief that ultimately offered nothing relevant.

I think the forums would benefit from a new category “Players Helping Players” or “Community Support”.

There are often times good questions people post looking for info on game mechanics, builds, trade skills etc and they get drowned out in the flood of gripes here in General.

General shouldn’t even be a thing really. Well designed, specific topic categories help eliminate a lot of these kinds of aimless posts.

It’s like having a General folder on your PC. You just end up throwing random shit in it instead of properly sorting it into specific folders and culling the junk
