Can no longer launch the game

  • What is your character name in New World: LiamH
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Barri
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: I click to load NW as normal and get the error message "No product information found, cannot initialize game. Please contact customer service for this product."
  • Is this a bug? Never had this before and played since laucn day.

  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I have rebooted the pc, restarted steam, logged out / in etc and every time I now launch the game I get this error message.

I’ve played since lauch day on 3 different PC’s and never seen this issue. :frowning: I’ve done nothing different my end, booted up the pc today and tried to login and keep getting this message. Worked fine last night.

I was in the game ,goes error ,then o was on Dektop ,then i cant launch the game

yeah same thing has just happened to me, sat farming and kicked out now getting the error message “No product information found, cannot initialize game. Please contact customer service for this product.”

ever since i uninstalled in November i haven’t been able to run the game…

Same here. I googled it and found an old azz topic saying to turn off IPV6 on your net adapter, I did and it worked.

So yea this bug has been here since launch and re-appeared after a Steam update the other night.

Really annoying change to have to make to my system to be able to load the game btw.
