Can someone explain how the buy orders work?

Sometimes I have things in my inventory, or in my storage.

Say… I have 70 hyssops.

I want to sell them to a buy order who wants 999 hyssops.

So I push the slider to 70 and it says…

“Insufficient items”

What’s going on? I clearly have the items… Can someone explain?

Put it in the inventory, doesnt work out of storage.
