What I mean about this is when im participating in a 30+ raid in myrk for example and I’m wailing away on a boss, how much do i actually need to do to be eligable for a drop?
Using a non Lvl20 weapon to see if it counts that i’ve actually killed something, I can be the first to attack it, constantly wail on it until it dies and still not get any mastery or drop.
This is super important if I’m dropping Topaz potions before a run or even just for me to get something from a boss? Why is the requirement so steep ? Im obviously participating in the battle can you please actually give me something ?
If i remember right you need to do around 15% hp damage to get rewards. This also counts for whole group. So if there is lets say 5-6groups and every group would do 15% dmg. Everyone would get rewards. Though its hard to know when your team hits 15% mark. Hence too many groups/inviduals are risky. If couple do 20-25% damage. Its already 40-50% and then rest can fight for rewards.
Something like 4 groups are safe aka 20players. Quite guaranteed that everyone gets rewards and 5groups are quite safe too. 6groups is risky and if teams dps is unbalanced. One group is always left out and would be rng who doesnt get drops on lower dps groups.
With more than 10 players participating, drop rates are lowered I think.
In order to even qualify for a drop, your party must contribute 10% of the damage (I think as well). If you are leveling a new weapon, you can see if you got kill credit by the weapon exp. Otherwise, look out for Azoth or gold.
