Can we actually have the Studio positon regarding Restless boars?

I don’t want to know what you the player think, because it’s just a “spot”.

Because it’s bugged, there is not opinion on that, the boars have a 10 second spawn, yeah there is no input from your the player, but you smart people staying 4hours in the bugged spot and trying to argue it’s okay because it’s normal behavior it’s beyond absurd.

What I want to know is, Is New World Studio going to handle punishment, can we actually have this information?

Because every single post talking about this bug has no mention from the Studio or someone who works on it, regarding this.

If it’s a “no, there will be no punishment”, cool, at least remove their drops, this kind of spots being leveling zone only are okay, but having gold azoth and items in their pools is kinda absurd.

If it’s a yes, give players like a small punishment, just to say we care.

Also let me say, it’s absurd people trying to argue that it’s okay to grind glitched spots, just say you did it and lifes goes on, don’t try to stay on the gray zone

There are a bunch of threads on this in Bugs and Exploits. I linked a bunch of videos on it. So far I have not seen a response. They did do one set of fixes of spawn rates last patch, I’m sure it’s coming for that one. No idea if bans will go out or have.

And here I am hoping for more places that we can spend hours killing stuff nonstop.

Nobody cares. It’s been there since the beginning of beta, they’ve had forever to fix it, who gives a crap if someone maxes skinning? lol Same deal with the lodestone bear.

Since it was there during launch they should leave it. When you have early exploit spots in a game and then patch them it just secures the advantage of players who abused it.

Issue is not max skinning, skinning is the easiest tradeskill in the game.

The issue is having access to infinite azoth a insane gold farm spot and having one of the best XP in the game at the same spot.

If you are not aware these pigglets gives 50’sh exp each.

I tried it at 47 and got 29 xp, sometimes none at all because there were 10 other people hitting the same pig… corruption farming is way better, max azoth in 30 mins.

The spawn timers are not bugged in boarsholm - they’re that low everywhere (and it’s not 10 seconds, it’s about 1 minute). The place is OK for weapon/char exp, but definitely nowhere near as good as just group farming elite areas.

The experience scales based on your level, so if you’re above 45ish it gives crap xp and weapon xp.

This. There is nothing broken there and it’s not even very good. It IS a great place to get skinning to 200 because there’s so many people killing few skinning, but that is pretty easy in the first place.

Weapon exp is decent, that’s bout it. Much more lucrative farms and grinds in this game.

Nah, even that part is not that much true. Morningdale is 3-5 times faster for that last push to 200 (1k for pumas, 1.5k for bears). Skinning is way too easy anyway you look at it.

But mourningdale is 45-50 and you have to make your own kills. Its easy in the boar farm because you don’t even have to be able to make the kill or survive the enemy everyone else is killing you just skin skin skin.

edit-misquoted area lvl

Well if you don’t need iron hides, what do you even need 200 skinning for? xd
If it was going as slow as woodcutting, you most definitely would not sit in boarsholm until 200 (well at least not for just that).

Naw I actually didn’t even use the farm as a grind nor did I focus on leveling my skinning. I personally came across it naturally as part of my quest and just hung out for a little while skinning and went from 165-200 in what felt like no time. So I’m just commenting based on that really. I was at 165 already cuz I just gather as a matter of fact while im leveling.

Sidenote: I remember going there solo during beta when it wasn’t a farmed thing to do the quest. And oh boy was that ever hard
