Can we get a Buff for Elemantal Armor Shards so they will be useful

Hello,
I’m asking for a Buff for the Elemental Armor Shards from Mutations. Now they are useless noone is using them which is wrong, because they are dropping to make Mutation Specific Gear but normals Gems are just better.

Can we get a rework for these Armor Shards or a Buff.
