I feel like this is the Perfect time to give us better faction gear that we can use end game to allow us to rep our factions with that sweet gear swag. And just have it work like all other legendary gear where it isnt actually 600+ until your expertise hits the mark but make them PvP focused plsssssss. Hell tie in some hella expensive requirements even or tie them behind some quests to make it interesting.
So im editing this part in but after thinking about it I think they could do something really cool here with the faction lore. Have us go on a series of quests that helps explain the real reason each faction is here. We work closely with an NPC that travels with us as we do their quest and they explain things to us in small bites. But we have to prove that we are without a doubt dedicated to our factions by performing rather difficult tasks and potentially killing other players even. Maybe we see a touch of corruption in the factions that we have to fix along the way? But once you complete the quest you get access to the 600 GS gear but you also earned enough stuff to buy yourself one piece once you finish the quest chain. And the final quest should be something pretty big like a mini war between the three factions or something where you are told to get 25 kill assists/kills on each of the other faction members and it DOESNT reset if you die cause good lord that would be impossible.
Extra idea, have the factions each be more themed in their quests. Marauders are all about fighting, covenant is about solving a mystery and uncovering corruption, and syndicate is all about getting dirt on the other factions.
