Overwatch does this really well. Any ground effects are tinted red if they’re from enemies. Even Torb’s lava is easy to tell if it’s an enemy or allies.
this is even more important in outpost rush, because in war you can organize how many healer. but outpost rush is totally random.
it is pretty much a life and death when you fight inside a friendly scared ground or enemy scared ground. without making any strategy and decision base on situation. there is no way for us to make any skillful play beside blindly go in and hope for the best
