Literally my favorite content in the game right now. I’m usually in the top 5 for score/damage in invasions, so it’s not like I’m dragging. But I’m not on the server’s dominant faction (which is green) and I’m not part of a big guild.
Getting really tired of getting blocked out of what I find to be the most fun content in the game.
note: I don’t care if you don’t agree with me about how fun it is, it’s a ton of fun to me and my favorite content to do.
The most fun content of New World and its got so many barriers to being able to play it.
This is the kind of content that should be “open world.” Let as many players as want to join – to join. Scale the event based on the number of players. Lots of people = big event. Small number of people = small event. And instead of scheduled invasions, let an alert go out (Something like “An invasion is forming and looks to attack in about 30 minutes. To arms!”)
And stop this “invasion kicking” stuff – having a company in charge of the event just messes it up for everyone. Let as many as want to play, to be able to play. And ‘late comers welcome’.
Oh man, when I first heard about invasions in Beta I thought they WERE open world. I was bummed they aren’t, but I have to agree. They totally should be.

some, just want to get the reward
in our server,
if it is a chill invasion, we rarely kick anyone. unless they just auto running to wall, or totally hoard all the repair parts
it is chill, but we also want to try for fun
if it is a try hard invasion,
we prioritize people that we can trust, who can listen to commands
we (greens) usually kick purples, bcs they are well known as troublemakers
and we prioritize our own company members then others.
because we want to clear this invasion
so to remove ‘kick’ feature, agree and disagree…

Please remove the kick. I had been kicked 3 times today in invasion. This is BS. you can’t just kick people in this PVE event.
You know what is more annoying, I actually apologized to leave my own group in myrk to join the invasion. And when they kick you, you get port to the town. And I have no way to my original group agian, cuz you have no way to go in there solo!!!

So green took another territory on my server. Which now means there are only three territories where I can participate in invasion defense because the Marauders on my server in virtually ever defense just fucking kick every person until only green is left.
Not exactly related, but I’ve had a lot of problems with being harassed by my local PD (I’m currently in the middle of a joint harassment lawsuit against them with lawyers representing six total people) and it’s been ruining my mood seeing how much they get and have been getting away with as more documents are subpoenaed.
But I can’t even find respite from authoritarian nonsense in my gaming time. Because I’m not a marauder and marauders get to choose, most of the time, whether or not I can participate in my favorite content in this game.
I’m getting sick of it. Especially when I make a point of setting aside the time for an invasion, am fortunate enough to be picked, just to be kicked. It’d be one thing if I wasn’t picked, but…
The more I think about it, the more I feel like the solution to all of this is to make the freaking invasions open-world. Let everybody who wants to participate participate. Then you won’t even have to mess with the difficulty. Hell, the first difficulty nerf may not have been necessary were that the case.
Im sad to read this to be honest man. I feel your server a bit toxic. If you still have a transfer we have space in Atvatabar. I even set up a discord for running these. Despite being green dominant, we focus on everyone participating in this pve content of the game. Hope everything get better mate cheer up!
I’m on Orofena - and the sad part? Almost unanimously, people that have transferred here have said it was better than their old server.
I’m starting to think the transfers are killing it, though. Because there used to only be two companies (one green, one yellow) that did this kind of stuff. Now it’s all over green space.
I had another thought after being kicked out of a Cutlass Keys invasion the other day - maybe active homeowners shouldn’t be allowed to be kicked from an invasion, too. They pay more in taxes than anyone. I have a t4 in Cutlass and nothing annoys me as much as getting kicked from a Cutlass invasion in particular. lol I LIVE there.
It feels pretty bad to get kicked all the time while companies just put only their friends in the invasions. I thought they were supposed to only be able to pick 10? What happened to that rule?
Another idea: Every kick adds 1 downgrade on the line if you lose.
what about the grievers?
You can report them.
Better to do that than to spam kick. This is not really okay.
we specify in the beginning when we really want to win,
we will say we do kick those afk/grievers/repair parts takers without mercy

That’s great. As I said, report them. Kicking those particular people doesn’t bother me either. I wish more people operated the way you say you do, that you’ll kick griefers/people that aren’t taking it seriously or whatever. The problem is this is not how the kick function is used and you know it. Maybe you do not use it this way, but this is not the way it’s commonly used.
Note: I said “Better to report them than to spam kick” not don’t kick at all period.
I’d be fine with a votekick system. that required like 30 people for a kick.
But spam kicking is a problem, for the reasons outlined above.
in our server they kicking too they just do planed invasions and just the same player are in … It sucks, because they kick everyone so 50 can do it every every time and the over 1950 can farm wood or something, because there is not so much PVE content… More and more player will leave if ags dont do something. i have 3 Houses, 3 trophies buffood and the other stuff and im fine with the mechanic, but they want do it with the own group and thats not ok ! Immerfall was the first who was starting this shit on our server, now the full server is doing this … R.I.P. Pve Content for a lot of players. Just slime to all guilds on the server who have a area and u have a save spot in 
1 Week ago we won a invasion with randoms ! No one was kicking this was a epic win and funny but currently just planned invasions is not the way ! Thanks
Yeah I pretty much stopped playing due to being gated out of the content I like most. Invasion kicking and the dungeon keys having a 7 day cooldown.
The mechanic was supposed to be 10 chosen and 40 random. Kick is allowed to prevent lead swingers, afk etc. Kick wasn’t intended as a sorting mechanic.
I would propose that 20 players can be chosen and 30 are random. No kicking or only vote kicking. Report players that abuse queue with afk. If they get more than 30 reports from one invasion (only players in that invasion can report) then they are blocked from invasions for 2 days or some other similar penalty.

i dont think they will do jack shit about it anytime soon btw. There was official responce somewhere in these forums already that went like " ye , not very cool , however we dont care and dont think it is abuse of the system " .
I suggested many times in such threads that there needs to be invasions on the unclaimable territories . No governor to kick ppl . only players without a company or from companies that dont own land can que . Same with wars , make a once in 3-4 days war with total randoms. for ppl to sign up at least to participate in such big part of the content that they gated only for dominant companies for some reason.
