If bans are really analysed and not automated, I want to know why does the guys (I got deservedly banned, I admit) that were swearing, trashtalking and telling me to km weren’t banned while I did got banned. I mean, do you guys really read all of that and thought “yeah, that guy saying that opposing faction stole his grandman’s retirement money surelly deserves to be banned. What? The guys swearing at him and trashtalking it to hell? Nah, they’re fine”.
That’s no human error, it can’t be possible that they simply didn’t see it, considering that every message that I sent was followed by that. If it was analysed, you saw someone being harassed by multiple people and decided to ban only the one harassed. I really do hope that it’s a bot taking care of the bans, if not, the only thing I learned is that you can be racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, but if you say that someone stole your grandma retirement money (that’s obviously a joke, but ok, I can’t be an a-hole and expect everyone to understand what I’m saying), you’ll surely get banned.
EDIT: Yeah, I reported them. No, they didn’t get banned. Yeah, I apealled my ban. No, I didn’t get an answer (it’s been 2 weeks…)
How is it proven otherwise? I’ll refer to a guy in my server again that I reported for saying the n word. He was ‘mass reported’ for it immediately but it took 2 days for him to get banned. On top of that he coincidently got banned right before a war so everyone automatically assumed he was reported to keep him out of the war when in reality he was a racist. Everyone that gets banned for breaking the CoC get up in arms about all this ‘proof’ of mass reporting triggering auto bans but if you ask them to show you the proof, they just say to google it. The one guy in customer support said that there is an automatic ban system and he was very likely confused with EaC because he doesn’t need to know about how the report system works. The community managers however do more than moderate forums, as that is what moderators are for. Community managers work with the devs to provide us info of whats going on so a community manager can go to a dev or the people processing reports and ask how it works to provide us with that info. But it seems they don’t really need to do that and it’s pretty open/closed you get reported then a human reads the reports and makes a decision. I’m sure people who are reported a ton get thrown right to the top of that pile so the team processing the reports can see them faster.
Can you guys at least explain why the most reported gets top priority?
I know that sounds silly, but it makes no sense to me someone being prejudiced about every single thing on earth EVERYDAY not being banned while someone that’s mass reported for nothing being top priority.
You also cannot read lolol in-game items for in-game currency. It’s against TOS if it’s in game, for out of game, jesus you and the one above you need to go back to school or something
I saw someone get banned for mentioning in global they’re selling rings on the trading post for $500 and Amazon perma banned him for selling in game items with real money which is the most brain dead ban I’ve ever seen. Stay quiet if you’re incapable of using your own brain.
You clearly can’t use your head, he used $ as a currency marker since there’s no currency emblem besides gold and he clearly stated in his post in global it were rings in the trading post, and you’d have to be actually brain dead to assume he meant 500 US dollars for in game rings
You use $, it gets flagged. You forget about games that have had items sell for 100s if not 1000s of dollars. Nobody else has issues using gold. Because…its a gold coin. I’ll put this in terms even you might understand. 9(gold).5(silver)0(copper) 9.50
