I know I have been mis banned in other games, and when they unbanned me after seeing the mistake, i went back into playing. There’s nothing you can do about it, so if your unbanned, just play.
Thankfully i’ll never commit penalties that result in suspensions. I know there are issues in game, so i keep a low profile and don’t speak to anyone. 
I believe the community managers post is correct, there is no auto ban feature. I also believe that there is a system that creates a list of people for review to ban based on reports and a person manually presses the ban button without an investigation.
This is most likely not due to laziness on the part of the person pushing the ban button, but more of a company policy or guideline in place. Something to the effect of individuals with high amounts of reports for the same thing require no investigation, those with various different reports do require investigation.
I used to work in a call center and we had customer grades. Basically the customer had a grade level A-D. If the customer called in often, missed payments, or had a black mark on their record for cursing at a rep or had an incident with a technician their score would fall lower and lower. Once it hit D the customer was basically worth the loss and only given the most basic customer service. You were not to be rude to them, but you also were not supposed to spend a lot of time with them either. Get them off the phone ASAP.

I NEVER worked in the collections department and I NEVER wanted too. Those poor guys looked like beaten dog poo after a 10 hour shift. I always tried to stay on the technical side. You are a stronger person then me for sure man.
No no. I was not implying that you did. However you understood their job, as collections are usually cross trained in CX SPT

Wait.what? So that literally make this even worse. So its not an automatic ban, but actual people working for AGS who are banning players who are unjustly banned ~ and you think is better than an auto ban.
Your basically saying the system is broken, and the banned people just have to ‘deal with it’ until you figure it out? Am I hearing this correctly? What if they don’t come to the forums and find this info? Are you sending out emails to them to let them know how to appeal this?
It has not happened to me, but I can only imagine how angry I would be if it did.
I have previously contacted Amazon Games support with the following response when I inquired regarding the strikes on my account:
“I understand your frustration
since we donot have tools and resources on our end for Ban appeals and status”
I contacted a Community Manager with no response as well, where do you suggest I submit my inquiry?

Community managers don’t participate in moderation decisions or have visibility on them. We can work with the Mod team on issues but it isn’t a part of our function day to day.
Nothing sent to that is ever replied to.

The best way to review any moderation sanctions on your account is to submit an appeal ticket or a general Support ticket asking for a moderation team member to help you review your account.
