Can we please get a dev response to this?

I get that AGS is aware of problems and is working to fix them. “Patience”, they say. I am a very patient man and I enjoy this game enough to wait for the fixes. But that’s not the only issue on my mind.

To my mind, a bigger issue is what steps AGS is going to take to mitigate the damage already done? With all the calls for server wipes, new fresh start servers, a Realm Reborn restart, etc., I haven’t heard boo from AGS about what they are thinking regarding the damage to the economy.

Is it the AGS position that everything will be ok once they “fix” the bugs and life will just go on after the fixes? Is there any thought given to how to deal with whatever economic unbalances occurred as a result of the massive gold duping? Is there going to be some kind of redistribution or elimination of certain wealth centers? What’s the plan?

I’m perfectly willing to be patient and wait for the fixes to come. And I assume that the exploiters will be punished/banned, whatever, however ineffective that may be. But I’m not just interested in retribution. I want to know what the world is going to look like when or if I return to playing this game. In the absence of information, I assume that life will just go on and, speaking for myself, that’s just too demotivating to consider.

So, AGS, please chirp up with your thoughts.

I have a question for Amazon Games on this update: [dupe response] First, I want to say that I appreciate Amazon Games taking a public stance this time and officially declaring something an exploit and stating that they will be banning players using the exploit. I think this goes a long way in assuring those of us not exploiting, that they care about the exploits happening in game and that they are willing to actually do something about ridding the game of these exploiters. Thanks. I actually just quoted the response from the official news section and posted it in General. I just have not seen the thread on the forum, I can only find it under my activity which is how I linked it.
